Q: my range extender for airport express previously working well for two years is no longer being recognized on my airport utility and will not support my iPad. How do I manage this?

I have a second airport express device which extends the range of my wireless and this worked well for about two years. Recently it is not supporting my iPad and it is not recognized on my airport utility other than a gray image with an amber triangle/exclamation point. How do I recover the function for this secondary airport express device?

I would suggest that you perform a "factory default" reset on this second AirPort Express, and then, use the AirPort Utility to again reconfigure it for an extended network as before. Please post back your results.
