Q: Unable to upload photos from scan disk. Scan disk does not show up under devices in Photos. Help.

I have a 2009 year old MacBookPro with OS X Yosemite, version 10.10.4. Memory is 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 125.34 GB free of 249.2 GB. Photos, Version 1.0.1.

I am unable to upload photos from scan disk which is not full. It holds 8 GB. Scan disk does not show up under devices in Photos. Help. Thanks.

Does it show up in Disk Utility?
Does it show up under USB in System Profiler?

No, the scan disk does not show up under Finder, Disk Utility or USB. So, I guess I take it to the Apple Store.
