Photos is placing a location of Qinghai,China on my photos. How do i change this to the real location in Texas?

I am having some issues with Photos. I do find I am having to plug my phone in to have the photos move to my Macbook. but that is not what is bothering me. Locations are being imported from places i have never been and are like 1/2 way around the world. I live in McKinney, Texas and the locations are showing up as from China. How can I change this information?

The location issue is a widespread bug in Photos. The geolocation data is actually correct in the image metadata. It's just that Photos is misrepresenting it.

All you can do is let Apple know and wait for a fix.

You can not - it appears to be a server issue and probably will correct itself - if not wench El Captain is released you will be able to edit the GPS info
