Q: Looking for software for making simple webpages (not using code)

I have a 2009 MacBook Pro running on 10.10.5  I have a webpage for my kindergarten class for the parents.  I have been using iWeb because it is so simple to use but I know it ins't supported anymore and I keep having problems with it unexpectedly quitting on me.  So it may be time to use something else.  I want something simple that I can pretty much insert pictures and captions and go.  I didn't know if there is a program Apple sells to fit the bill - need it ASAP!  My parents are waiting for pictures of their little darlings!    Thanks in advance

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2009), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Hi Karen. So what you would really want is to fix the iWeb and not a replacement of the iWeb, correct?
Did you upgraded the last version of iWeb? There are some bug fixes on the last iWeb updates.

I think this is the last update link: iWeb 3.0.4

Yes there are lots of alternatives to iWeb out there, but your best bet would be to take a look at EverWeb by Rage Software.  It is very much like iWeb in use and appearance and is very easy to use, but offers so much more from within the programme, built in contact form etc., which iWeb never had.

It would mean that you need to re-build your iWeb page in EverWeb, but that is no problem and should not take you long.

    Take a look at EverWeb.

Also, note that as Apple ditched iWeb in the first place, it is not very likely that they would ever consider creating an alternative.  Not likely to happen at all so give EverWeb a try.  It is easy to use and you don't need to know anything about code.
