WI-FI Password issues.

I recently bought an Ipod Touch & I cant connect to my wi-fi because the password seems to be to long. It will not fit. Also I had tried to sync my Itune music libary from my PC, I had a ipod nano classic, pink. It was stolen so I bought the new ipod Tod 16 GB 2015 10 days ago. When i plugged into my pc computer it said ipod Tod will not work bcuse i had the older version iTunes, which i upgraded so i could sync songs onto ipod Touch. It still wouldnt work. HELP PLEASE, so now i have a $200 ipod Touch & cant get it going. 😟
