On my IPhone 4s the sound is not working it will only work with headphones. The volume sign will appear when I try to turn it up but the volume bars won't appear and no sound will come out unless connected to a headset. I've already updated it to the latest one and the sound still won't turn on!!! !! If you know how to fix this problem please let me know ASAP!!

It sounds like you are unable to hear anything from the built in speakers on your phone, but when you have headphones plugged in they do indeed have audio. I would recommend you use the troubleshooting in this article about that kind of issue, named:
