Why do the added pictures turn green?

Hey there! I used imovie for some years already - never had any problems. This time I want to make a movie, 80% of the added pictures turn green when starting the movie. In the timeline you can see clearly the pictures but on the screen it is green. Why? Or better: What can I do to stop that?

Is it that the pictures are too big?
