I have several duplicates because of an old downloads folder. How can I delete them all without having to click on each individual item and deleting?
Basically, there are several thousand mp3 files that are double represented in my iTunes music folder because when I recently downloaded the new version of iTunes, it scanned my computer and found the files in my iTunes library AND my downloads folder (I hadn't deleted them and didn't realize i tunes would find them there, capiche?). Now I'm stuck with thousands of duplicates that I can seemingly only delete on an individual basis which could take days. Any shortcuts? Is there a way to wipe the slate clean and re-scan my computer's files (I have since deleted the downloads folder) so that it only finds one copy of each song??? PLEASE HELP!!! thanks.
