Could a photocopy damage the iPad?

photocopying the iPad screen does seem to work. It such poor quality I only do it as a last resort. Could a photo copier damage the iPad?

I'm worried about the brightness of the light, but there might be dangers I'm not aware of (othet than forgetting it on the photocopier and walking away without it).

Lots of well intended comments, thank you. Yes I could print (if I had a printer), but that's not what I was asking about.

I'll ask at the Apple Store next time I'm there, but this is not a question I'm expected them to know the answer to. Maybe one on the design engineers might, but I don't know how to ask them.

Perhaps I should have asked if anyone has damage their iPad or iPhone using a photocopier?

The screen cannot suffer from the light of a photocopier, as it is not an input device (It is technically blind).

21st century technology has caused problems institutions and companies when e-mails carry malware-that infects their system - if the form the OP is trying to get a copy of is available on the internet - in order to get a printout - get thee to the local library that has desktop computers that you can use to print the form.
