Q: Cannot connect via bluetooth with my iPhone 5c to use airdrop
I have managed to pair my iPhone C (iOS 8.4) to my 2011 MAC BOOK PRO (yosemite) but when i try to connect i get an error saying that i have to make sure network access is enabled. How do i go about doing that?

Not sure how you managed to Pair them. iPhones will not pair to Macs or any computer for that matter.
AirDrop does use Bluetooth, but Pairing is NOT required nor possible. Bluetooth just needs to be on.
Your 2011 MacBook Pro CANNOT AirDrop to iOS devices.
In order to transfer files between a Mac and and an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
- Your iOS device needs to include a lightning connector
- Your iOS device needs iOS 7 or later installed
- Your Mac needs to be a 2012 or later model with OS X Yosemite installed*
- Your Mac and iOS device both need bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on. You do not have to be connected to a specific Wi-Fi network.
