UNHIDE does NOT work for at least 116 of my previously purchased songs. What can I do?

I am trying to re-download songs lost on a NAS drive that failed. For some reason the little cloud icon is not present beside the songs in my list and when I go to the manage hide and un-hide section of my account, the unhide button is not responding. Thanks, for any info.

macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.6.6)
