How can I use a mac without the store?

Updates are only available via the AppStore update delivery system (with a few exceptions) avoiding the store will be very limiting.

I get updates from the App Store, and apple does not have any bank details of mine.

If you go into your account, in the section about your card is there not an option to click none.

Some updates will be available via the Appl Support Download Pages. the first page will show you the most recent updates, and if you click Browse By

Product you can dig about for others. As said before not all updates are available here, such as Safari.https://support.apple.com/downloads/

If you go to System Preferences, App Store you can stop the notification of updates and stop automatically downloading updates.

Others will tell you to take the "none" option, but so far they will not tell you how that is done. It appears to be the option you want. I suggest that you ask how that is done.

According to TOS (not TOU) contributions need to be constructive. Does not look that way - does it?

Actually an explanation on how to get the "none" option would be very helpful and completely constructive, telling people they can while not telling them how is the opposite.

from the store menu item in App Store click view my account, you will be asked to sign in

from there you will see payment information, if you click edit you should be able to see this.
