Thunderbolt on Windows 8

I want to buy intensity shuttle which supports USB 3 or Thunderbolt.

my mid 2011 iMac has only USB 2 ports, but also 2 Thunderbolt ports.

I want the product I want to buy to work with both operating systems so USB 3 won't work, and also as far as I know - Thunderbolt is not supported on bootcamp.

What can I do? is there something I can do to make thunderbolt work on Windows 8 bootcamp?

iMac 27" mid 2011 2.7Ghz intel core i5

20gb ram

Windows 8 pro
