Taking forever to log in!! HELP!!

My laptop has been working fine. I downloaded skype like i have previously on my old macbook. Well ive noticed that this new operating system is very touchy when it coems to security. So everytime i want to get on skype it asks if im sure i want to open. I didnt think anything of it until tonight. I wouldnt even let me open skype and then i went to get on my internet and it would open up a window and then close. So i decided to restart it. Well i shut down but never started back up, so i turned it on and opened to my log in. I entered my password and it gave me the bar like it was loading and its never done that before and it will load half way and just sit there. I don't know whats wrong. This computer isnt even a month old.
