Hi there,
I just noticed that some of the albums I have on my iPod classic are merged in coverflow and album view. I've never noticed this kind of behavior before I started syncing my iPod classic with iTunes 12 (got the latest version already). I was not able to find a system behind the merging of certain albums. Anybody else got across this kind of problem so far?

See Grouping tracks into albums. For iPod classic each album title needs to be unique, and each album should have a consistent value for Artist, or be marked as a compilation.

Ha, thank you very much. I indeed had three albums named Greatest Hits and two others also had an identical album name.

A tip for those who are struggling with this:
Add as many infinity symbols (option + 5 on a mac [US layout]) as necessary to create a difference in the album title (do that only for the albums on the iPod itself!). The iPod classic can't display that symbol and pretends it is not even there.
