Q: iPod Touch 4g: Apps not downloading

I reset my iPod 2 days ago and manage to download apps, then I did it again yesterday because it's becoming slower. Then when I tried to download apps such as Facebook, Messenger etc. it says that I need at least ios 7 to download the apps, so now I can't download anything as every app needs ios 7 or above which cannot be done because iPod Touch only goes up to ios 6.1.6. Is there any other way I can download the apps version ios 6?
