Q: I can't open my iTunes and Apple Store apps.

Ever since I got the latest iOS 8.4.1 update, I've been having trouble opening and using my iTunes and Apple Store apps. I would press the iTunes app, and it would open to a blank screen, but it still included the "Music", "Movies", "TV Shows", "Search", and "More" icons at the bottom of the screen. It would do that loading circle thing at the top left corner of my screen for a couple seconds, but when it would disappear, nothing would show up. Same thing goes for my Apple Store. I've read a few questions and answers on this topic before, about how you have to check that the date and time is right, and about the Wifi stuff, and I did all of those things. After I did, I tried to open them both back up again, but there wasn't a difference. I have an iTunes Card that I've really been wanting to use, but I haven't been able to because of this problem. I also know that I still have some cash left over from a different iTunes Card. Please help!

    Hi, Jaimieluvschu.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

I understand that the iTunes and App Stores will not load on your iOS device.  I would need a little more information regarding your configuration to possibly provide a better answer.  Is this happening on your iPhone?  Does this issue happen when using cellular data, Wi-Fi or both?  Have you tested the issue on other know good Wi-Fi networks?  I would start with forcing all open applications to close then restart the device.  If the issue persists, take a look at the steps in the second article below that reference iOS as they may help.
