Q: What is your method for storing photos while traveling with 2 iOS 8.4 devices?
I am going to stay in Europe for 8 months and taking only a iPhone 5C and iPad Air 2. I plan on using the iPhone for taking photos however I would like to have a physical backup and the ability to delete from the phone.
I know that my iCloud account is only a virtual backup and not storage and that if I delete on one it is deleted from all other iOS devices. I also know that if I have a laptop/desktop computer I can find the physical photos under Pictures>Show Package Contents>Masters, even when I delete them from the iOS devices.
1. What is your workflow method to ensure that you have a physical copy when you don't have access to a laptop/desktop computer?
2. Can I use iCloud account online and have someone download a physical copy from my account stateside onto a computer?
3. Can I transfer/sync to my iPad which has a 125GB and then delete from my phone?
I know I have read dozens of these types of questions but mostly all were before the new paradigm switch with iPhoto to Photos. Any help or sharing your experience would be greatly appreciated.
