bootcamp partition greyed out after installing yosemite

hello!

I have a macbook pro and updated on yosemite some days ago. I used paragon to recover my bootcamp partition. Also I changed the sizes of the partitions from mac and bootcamp at the same time. Everything went fine, mac and windows worked well until today.

Now my bootcamp partition is still there but greyed out in mac and when I try to reboot, only the mac and the recovery disk (made by yosemite) are available, windows is gone. It looks like this:

User uploaded file

I was reading the post below, where people had similar problems (out of other reasons), so I installed Tuxera and tried to mount bootcamp. It looked like this:

Boot Camp partition won't mount in Disk Utility all of a sudden

User uploaded file

So I tried to verify and then repair the disk, but disk utility stopped the operation in the half:

User uploaded file

After this bootcamp was visible (not grey anymore) but the folders in it were more or less empty.

So I followed the instructions in the post mentioned above and "disabled Tuxera NTFS" on the windows 7 bootcamp partition and tried to reboot.

Windows still gone when I reboot, bootcamp again greyed out, when I start the disk utility in mac. Can anyone please help me how I can get my windows back without new installation?

If it is useful, I add the verify/repair text from the disk utility here:

1. Can you explain what was done when you say use Paragon to recover your BC partition?

2. Can you post the output of the following Terminal commands?

diskutil list

diskutil cs list

sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0

sudo fdisk /dev/disk0

The "sudo" commands will prompt for your password, and it will not be echoed back. You may also see a warning about improper use of "sudo" and potential data loss due to "abuse" of the command.

1. I used paragon to produce a recovery file of my bootcamp, which i unfortunately already partly deleted, because everything seemed to work well. I deinstalled paragon now, because the trial period was over.

2.

3. in the meantime I followed the instruction you gave to someone else, with a similar problem: Repairing Boot Camp after creating new partition an typed in the terminal the following commands below. But I am not sure if I did the right thing, because windows is now available when I reboot, but when I try to start it is asking for the installation-cd, as it is not able to start. In mac the bootcamp is still greyed out and unavailable.

sudo fdisk -e /dev/disk0

p

setpid 4

07

flag 4

p

write

Using the second screen, the partition table will look like

Install GPT Fdisk (aka gdisk). Leave your Testdisk display and start a new Terminal Window. You need to use the following steps. If you see any error messages during the following steps, please stop and post back here with the error message. The following steps have values from your Testdisk output (and you can verify) in Steps 7 and 8. Please notice the'+' sign in step 8 (this is called offset notation). The text in parentheses is for informational purpose to describe the action being taken. Gdisk has one-character commands except when entering numbers.

Rebuild GPT4 using start/end offsets

  1. Sudo gdisk /dev/rdisk0
  2. P (print the full list of parts)
  3. D (delete)
  4. 4 (part 4)
  5. N (new part)
  6. 4 (part 4)
  7. 727263232 ( - Start offset in sectors or the start point for Bootcamp part)
  8. +737884153 ( - Size offset, as opposed to End offset)
  9. 0700 (Windows part type)
  10. P (print list of all parts just to see what changes will be made)
  11. W (Write the new GPT)
  12. Y (Yes! really write the new GPT)

This will delete and re-write the GPT partition info for /dev/disk0s4.

Rebuild MBR to match the new GPT information thus resetting the Hybrid MBR. Use defaults for other questions (like partition codes). The only values that need modifications are the Boot flags and step 10. Accept all other defaults that Gdisk offers. Please see thesample Q&A as an example. These steps can be repeated if you make a mistake before you get to Step 12, otherwise start from Step 1 for these steps. Step 6 has numbers which are typed with a space between the numbers.

  1. Sudo gdisk /dev/rdisk0
  2. P (Print list of parts)
  3. R (Recover)
  4. O (print current Hybrid MBR)
  5. H (chooses Hybrid)
  6. Partitions numbers to be hybridized: 2 3 4
  7. Y (Good for GRUB question)
  8. N (part 2 boot flag)
  9. N (part 3 boot flag)
  10. Y (part 4 boot flag make NTFS bootable partition)
  11. O (print current Hybrid MBR)
  12. W (Write the new MBR)
  13. Y (Yes! write the new MBR)
  14. Reboot

Here is sample Q&A for this section. Please notice the Press Enter/Return.

Place EFI GPT (0xEE) partition first in MBR (good for GRUB)? (Y/N): Y

Creating entry for GPT partition #2 (MBR partition #2)

Enter an MBR hex code (default AF): Press Enter/Return

Set the bootable flag? (Y/N): N

Creating entry for GPT partition #3 (MBR partition #3)

Enter an MBR hex code (default AB): Press Enter/Return

Set the bootable flag? (Y/N): N

Creating entry for GPT partition #4 (MBR partition #4)

Enter an MBR hex code (default 07): Press Enter/Return

Set the bootable flag? (Y/N): Y

Test 1 - Does Bootcamp Volume show up in Finder?

Test 2 - Can you see files in Bootcamp Volume?

Test 3 - Can you select Bootcamp in System Preferences -> Startup Disk?

Test 4 - If Test 3 is successful, select Bootcamp and Click Restart.

bootcamp is back, datas are there.

but unfortunately now windows is not starting anymore. when I start it, it works until the windows-logo appears, but then its not going any further. tried several system-repair options and save mode starting, also tried to repair it by starting with the windows-cd, but nothing is working. It says that it finds a mistake on GLOBALROOT/ Device/HarddiskVolume4/Windows. any idea, what I could do except of installing windows new?
