Q: Can I have two iPads using the same ID but with different apps?

Is it possible to delete apps from one device, but keep them on another, when they share the same ID?

    Yes, totally possible. I assume you mean Apple ID? Head into the app store, and then hit 'Purchased' along the bottom. Take your pick as to which apps you want to install on any of your devices.

     

    You can configure your devices so that when you download a new app, it automatically downloads on the rest of your devices. You can turn this feature on or off in settings.... (Turn on Automatic Downloads - Apple Support )

     

    This method is good if YOU have multiple devices. E.g. Your iPad & iPhone.

    However, if your whole family is sharing one Apple ID, that's not advisable You can try family sharing... Family Sharing - Apple Support
