Q: I have an IPhone 4 game freezing issue

I installed the simpsons tapped out on my phone and a couple of days ago I tried to play and the game loads but as soon as it is on playing screen it freezes and I can't play it...Have been playing it for months, now all it does is freeze upon loading! I have contacted the app developer and they tried everything they could on their end and said it is an issue with my phone. Does anyone know how I can fix this. I have tried reseting my phone and trouble shooting nothing is working.
