iPad 2 Mail insists on setting account to imap. How can I change it to pop?

My 2nd iPad 2 automatically sets my email account to imap Incoming rather than a pop account. It doesn't give a choice. Is there a way to change the settings to allow it to be a pop account - that would work much better for us with two people on 2 devices using this one account?

I understand that you'd like to set your email account up on your iPad 2 using POP rather than IMAP. This can be done by, when setting up your account, choosing "Other" in the list pictured below. When choosing "Other," you'll be prompted to enter the account settings for your provider, and can choose to set it up as POP or IMAP.
