Q: iPad 2 Mail insists on setting account to imap. How can I change it to pop?
My 2nd iPad 2 automatically sets my email account to imap Incoming rather than a pop account. It doesn't give a choice. Is there a way to change the settings to allow it to be a pop account - that would work much better for us with two people on 2 devices using this one account?

Set up the account manually as other but creaae a mistake under the username or password, then it should give you the option of pop or imap, jusst remember to correct the mistake before completing the acount set up.
