Q: Photos crash evry time i try to open my projects

I have recently come back  from a holiday and evry year i do a book with our best memories of the year.  I have this year been to Florida on a holiday of a life tie and now when i have created an album of my photos and tried to create a book it will let me create a book but when i come out of it ( as it will take some to complete properly) it just crashes, i have backed my system up, used the "cmd and options button" to fix photos, and still not  it wont work.  Some one please help.  As i really want to gethis done soon.
