Q: Is it possible to trade a broken MacBook for a discount in the purchase of a new one?
I recently spilled water on my keyboard and now my MacBook Air is not turning on. Seems that the motherboard is damaged. A friend of mine told me that I could trade my broken MacBook for a discount in the purchase of a new one. Is that right?
You can turn it in for recycling, and Apple will give you a few dollars for it. There is not trade-in options with Apple. You may do better selling it for parts on eBay.
