How do I redeem iTunes gift cards sent to me via email?

When I click on the "Redeem Now" box on the email - it takes me to a page telling me to download i-Tunes...which I already have?

Did you ever find out how to redeem it?

When you open the email with the itunes gift, instead of clicking on the "redeem" button, just hold your cursor over it. A long line of small print will appear at the bottom of the screen beginning with http and ending with a code combination of capital letters and numbers. Copy that code, sign into your itunes account, click the account tab at the top of the page and click redeem in the drop down menu. Follow instructions and enter that code!
