How can I upload Word or PDF files to websites with IPad's Safari or Chrome?

I am trying to upload a Word or PDF files to website using my IPad and when clicking the Choose file button there's a small window that allows you to upload only existing photos or take a photo, but it doesn't give you another type file to choose.

It doesn't make sense that I can use Words, Acrobat, and other business app with IPad, but I can't upload the business files to a website, only photos?

I would appreciate the help.

Thank you for the information. It's a pitty that one has to use FTP to upload a simple file. I was hoping that by now Apple had made the update necessary so that files uploads would be supported.

I have tried with Chrome with the same result.

Uploading files like this is not supported by the iOS. Contact the organization to which you need to send files and ask whether they have an FTP server that can accept files. Then use an FTP app to transfer the files. Alternately use your computer to upload the files.

You might also investigate other browsers in the app store. There may be one that will do the upload.

Are the Word and PDF files stored in iCloud Drive. That's the only way you'll be able to upload files within the iOS operating system.

I Have the file in ICloud, but still when clicking the "Choose a file" button it asks to Take a photo or Photo Library, not for any other kind of file.
