Path to Data folder on Time Capsule

Hi,

I need to supply the correct path to files on the Time Capsule.

Usually, it has worked for me to put /Volumes/Data/Filename, but when I actually pick a file, it is /Volumes/Data-1/filename. What is the -1 after Data? Where did that come from?

And it seems that other computers on the network access the files, they need only /Volumes/Data/filename.

The folder on the Time Capsule is simple Data, with the -1, so it looks like it is a duplicate of some sort, but I don't see a duplicate.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

with yosemite all things are possible.. Yosemite ghosts itself to the network.. so you may not have multiple ghosts of the TC.. but you do have multiple ghosts of your machine.. and to keep things sorted it has added the one.. but I am not sure.

Apple networking since Yosemite is a dog of a thing.. did you upgrade to the latest patch.. did this problem start then or did you only notice it now??

Please check under shared in Preferences, and see if Yosemite is on its 3rd or 4th ghost name..
