Lately I get this message popping up every other day. It's driving me crazy. Why is this happening?

Might be a browser cookies issue.
Open Safari.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab then click: Remove All Website Data
Quit then relaunch Safari. Then monitor to see if you see the pop up for, "session has expired"
If you are using a different browser to login to iCloud.com, delete cookies there also.
Thanks for the tip Carolyn. When I fired up the iMac this AM the dialog box was there yet again. I then went through the steps you suggested and on relaunching Safari - no dialog box! Hopefully it's gone for good. I'll give you an update in a week.

Hello again! I said that I was going to report back in a week but I'm doing so now because unfortunately - tweaking the Safari preferences didn't do anything. The dialog box is back with a vengeance. Any other thoughts as to how I can make it go away?
