Using iPhoto on Yosemite & Photo on i0S

Using iPhoto v9.6.1 on the Mac while also using Photo on the iPhone. Any negative issues anyone has noted with this? (I've searched...)

Mac Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

what specifically are you thinking about? There is no connection between iPhoto on the Mac and Photos on IOS except syncing which works and MyPhotoStream which also works

I am using Photos on my iOS device (no choice there - that's what we all are using on iOS 7 and above), and I'm also using both iPhoto and Photos on my Mac. I have Photo Stream turned on for both and both upload my Photo Stream photos. I use iPhoto for my importing. Everything works very smoothly. 🙂
