What happens if I buy a 1066 mhz memory stick instead of 1600?

So I want to upgrade my Macbook Pro Mid 2012 to 8gb of ram (it's currently at 4gb).

I searched online and found some memory sticks by crucial, but they're 1066 MHZ.

When I look at my macbook pro's info, it tells me that it supports 1600. What would happen if I get a 1066 memory stick?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Higher MHz, Faster Memory. Would you notice? Only marginally probably as it is only one part of system speed. I think Crucial has a wizard for putting in the Mac information and providing a list of modules they make that will work. Then you can make the cost trade off decision. I think you will find the faster memory is not that much more expensive.
