External Monitor Issue: Samsung SyncMaster 204B + MBAir(2014)

Hi,


i've updated from MBAir 2011(11") to MBAir 2014(13") (OS X 10.10.5).


I use an external Monitor, the Samsung SyncMaster 204B via MiniDisplayport-to-VGA-Adapter. With the MBAir 2011(11") everything was fine and it supported the full resolution up to 1600 x 1200. Now, with the MBAir 2014(13") it suppotrs only 1152x870.


Is there an option to update the graphics driver or what else can i do?
