I have a mid 2007 iMac with ilife 2008. I was wanting to update garageband to version 6 but cannot see how to. Is this still possible? Version 10 will not run on my iMac.

Apparently I would have to change the date on my iMac in order to install it as the certificate has now expired. (according to purchasers via amazon).
I don't know how to do that or what problems it might cause.

it's easy: open system prefs, select Date & Time, un-tick the checkbox to automatically set the date/time... and change the date. after the install re-tick the checkBox to automatically update the date/time.
Is it still possible to buy Garageband 6?
