how do I connect my iPod 5th generation midi studio app to macro 10.7 osx lion cubase sequencer with USB. remote does work with bloetooth but has too much latency

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Does the developer/manufacturer allow that (dock connector>USB)?

yes, the app is core midi compatible. It looks like I need a midi adapter to connect the two.
