On one network, iPad won't keep the WiFi connection - sleeps?

Hi there... I have an iPad Air (1st gen) running latest iOS 8... so it has all the updates.

While at home on my wifi network it maintains the network connection constantly and no issues at all... but at work on the corporate 'guest' network it seems that each time the iPad sleeps that the network connection is dropped. After I unlock the iPad and give it a second (sometimes two), it will reconnect.

What might be causing it to drop the connection on the work wifi when the iPad sleeps? I'm thinking this might be a network setting on their site (the guest network) as I don't see anything on the iPad that seems related to 'persist connection' or something similar.

Thanks for any suggestions, advice! Again... just happens with this one network. All others are fine.

Cheers,

Dustin
