iOS 8.4.1 Overheating Normal Use

Ever since I updated iOS to 8.4.1 iPhone 6+ is overheating at normal use (checking emails, browsing Safari or Twitter). However, phone doesn't overheat when charging or playing music.

I have done all kind of resets and hasn't worked, and I can't now downgraded to 8.4. I went to Apple store today to get it checked but had not booked an appointment, so they didn't look at it. Will have to go again during Walk In time.

I am pretty certain this is software related, anyone having same issue and fixed it?

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Two iPhone-6 units, both at 8.4.1 since release, no problems whatever.

I Have same problem as, u however it get more hot when i play games on it.

mine gets rly hot just around the facecam on the screen.

I Would really like to hear what Apple tells u if u go there, so if u could post it here, that would be great

I don't know if this will help anyone else, but my phone had lots of issues but this helped:

Sign out and then in to the iTunes & Apple Store in the phone settings. Settings > iTunes & App Store (Tap your Apple ID)
Turn off "Show Apple Music". Settings > Show Apple Music (Toggle this to off)
I turned on "Show Apple Music" this morning, and haven't had any issues.

I have tried this twice, but has not worked.

Before top back panel got hot; now screen is getting hot - especially around front camera and earpiece. Even when phone is on airplane mode but not in sleep.

Fixed.

I didn't go to Apple Store.

I ended up opting for "Erase All Content and Settings" and setting up phone as a new phone for second time. Apps (not all) and accounts details re-added rather than restored from back up.

Phone's battery improved and no overheating issue.

looks like an app or something in background wasnt working correctly.
