Panic Logs

I have an issue where my phone will suddenly freeze in the middle of a task and open while doing something fairly simple, such as sending a text message or updating Facebook. I have had 3 Panic Logs in 9 days since August 14.

This has happened before on a previous phone that was replaced where I had 14 Panic logs and constant phone crashes. The crashes have not been as often...yet.

Why does this keep happening? I am on an iPhone 5 updated to the latest iOS 8.4

Here is the latest Panic Log from August 23, which I am unsure how to decipher; maybe someone smarter than me will understand it:

Hello irapthor,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

If your iPhone is becoming unresponsive while using various apps, then I would suggest starting off with reinstalling iOS by following the steps below. This will just reinstall the operating system, and will leave your data untouched.

  1. Connect your device to a computer and open iTunes. If you don't have a computer, you can borrow one, or go to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for help.
  2. While your device is connected, force it to restart. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. Don't release when you see the Apple logo. Keep holding until you see the Recovery mode screen.

  3. When you get the option to restore or update, choose Update. iTunes will try to reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

iTunes will download the software for your device. If it takes more than 15 minutes, your device will exit recovery mode and you'll need to repeat steps 2 and 3 again.

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond or doesn't turn on - Apple Support

Take care.
