Try: If you accidentally deleted your calendars, reminders, or contacts from iCloud - Apple Support
Go to the Calendar app. At the bottom middle, where it says 'calendars,' is your calendar ticked?
Did you store your events locally on the iPad, in iCloud or sync them from your email provider?
