Cannot pair my watch with iphone 6 version 8.4.1

I cannot get my watch to pair. I have tried airplane mode on and off. I tried bluetooth on and off on my phone. It was working yesterday but then I left my phone in the car and it unparied and now I cant get it to pair again. I get the Red iphone signal on the top of the watch face.

Also when I try to pair it on the phone it says to align viewfinder with the watch. the watch goes to sleep before anything happens. When I try to pair it manually it says to tap the "i" icon on your Apple Watch. I cannot find an "i" icon. Help....

You're welcome.

Your Apple Watch and iPhone will become disconnected again from time to time (the status icon on your watch of a red phone with a line through it will indicate this).

It is not necessary to unpair and re-pair them when this happens (they are still paired, even when disconnected). Normally, they will reconnect automatically when they are brought back within range of each other.

If they don't (after allowing a little time for this to happen), then restarting one, the other or both devices should be sufficient to restore the connection.
