Cursor is not working with Magic Mouse only with USB mouse

The cursor was stuck in top left corner and wouldn't move so I had no control. I plugged in an old USB mouse and now it works, but I can't get the Magic Mouse to work. I have an iMac, OS X Yosemite, Version 10.10.5. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
