Change from @mac.com to @icloud.com

Hi everybody,

I have an old @mac.com primary email addres, I made it in 2008, i never verified that email address but still I can use the account name to log into apple services and so far i did not have any incident, UNTIL, I want to download the XCode, it won't work until I verify the primary email adress. The problem is that, that email adress (@mac.com) has no mailbox associated and even if it is supposed to be linked, I cannot receive the verification mail in the @icloud.com mailbox.

Any clue about this?
