DO I wear my watch or put it in the bin with my iPhone?
I have worn my watch through TSA checkpoints several times. I've used the passbook feature to scan boarding passes and it works just fine.
In those cases I have left my phone in my bag and worn the watch through, it does not set off the detector.

There will be differences at every TSA checkpoint. Ask them when you get to the airport.

No, it will not be damaged going though a scanner, but one way or another it will still go through a scanner.
As I answered on your previous post: Put it in a bin like everyone else who is wearing a watch.
There's no need to be snarky. I've always worn my watch, and I haven't noticed others taking them off either.
TO rephrase... Would wearing the apple watch through the scanner affect it?

it would also not damage your phone though, you don't put it in the bin to get it out of harms way it's to avoid the metal detector going off because of the metal.
