I need to download some old pictures that I have on my iPhoto, but is asking me to get permission from a Hard Drive that I don't have anymore. Any suggestions?
I thought that everything was already file on my MAC.

That'a an indication that the library was a "referenced" library
and the external hard drive which stored the referenced files outside of the library is not available.
There's no way to recover those photos without the external hard drive. That is one of the more compelling reasons to not have a "referenced" library.
