Factory "Hallo" screen instead of "Hello"

Hi I am looking at buying a used ipad 2. It has been apparently reset to the original "Hello" screen except in Spanish. It says "Hallo" instead. So my question is will i be able to navigate to the General menu to change the language without reading Spanish? I have an ipad already but it has been so long since I went through the original setup process I can not recall if I will be able to do this.

When you select your country or region, that should set the iPad to Engkish, assuming you are in an English speaking country. IIRC, there is or there was a place where you could choose the language and it is most likely in the country/region setting.

I would be most concerned that the iPad has been properly erased or you will not be able to activate it. Take look at this and make sure that whoever you are buying the device from has gone through all of the steps.

You can check to see if the device is unlocked here.
