Download is not working

I have downloaded this update 3 times now and each time I restart the computer as required. I do not get any error messages but find that the same update is required every time I check for updates. It is not installing. What's next?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Hold down the option/alt key while going to the  menu. Select the first item which will generate a system report. Under Software, you should see a section for Installations. See if it shows installed there. If so, see below.
