6th Gen iPod Touch Camera having trouble focusing

Hello, I recently purchased a brand new 6th Generation 64GB iPod Touch and I noticed that the back camera has trouble focusing when recording videos. I try to manually focus using the touch screen but it takes too long and the videos show up blurry and out of focus. I own a 5th gen iPod touch that does not have this issue. Does anyone else with a 6th gen iPod touch notice this issue? I saw recently that some iPhone 6's were being recalled for issues where the back camera produces blurry images and, although the camera is not the same, I wonder if its the same issue with the cameras.

I have not seen that problem reported here before. Try

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I reset it and it didn't help the camera focus issue at all. I feel like the new camera's are defective, but it doesn't seem like there are any other 6th gen iPod Touch owners on the support pages to support my claim though. My mind keeps going back to the iPhone's being recalled for the blurry camera issue right now. I will see about setting up an appointment with the Genius Bar within the next month
