I didn't know what else to name this thread....
I saw a really need free effect not to long ago, I think it was for Motion/FCPx.
In the demo, it simulated digital static and hash and then the camera was knocked over (image was tiled 90 degrees) and (I believe) the image ultimately dissolved.
It looked like a neat effect. Has anyone seen this? Short of that, what ideas do you have to simulate this in Motion/FCPx?

That's sort of vague. Do you have an example we can see? Kicking the camera over, that's done physically with the camera. Not sure what else was involved.

to 'destroy' a video, Alex' free plug-in Bad TV comes to mind… you can animate the parameters...
But it doesn't tilt the camera ...
FCPX comes with a Bad TV effect, also. You'll want an effect that pixelates the image more than bad tv static. Both, but more pixelation, which is what digital cameras do when knocked hard.
