Q: I have a stolen mac air that has been locked remotely, can I get it's last position on maps? Find my mac only displays when it was locked but not where the device was last seen
Hi recently my mac air was stolen and I had set up the lock and erase the mac option from Find my mac via icloud.
However, iCloud doe not show the last position or point where this mac was switched on on the map. It only displays the latest time it was locked. The person who has stolen this has switched this machine twice on the internet now and I have received two separate notifications at what time this was locked. But it does not show me the position on the map.
Can apple advise on the last position of the device, how else can one retrieve this?can the local authorities find this?
Kindly advise anyone, i need to recover the mac air urgently before it goes dark
