Not that the The iSight camera may not work with your Mac. It did not work with my 2012 Mini with Mavericks; the mic did not work and the frame rate was like 1 frame every 20 seconds.

Aug 26, 2015 12:38 PM in response to lllaassby peterhumason,Hi, no camera photo booth,no light in camera, opened system profiler no camera fireware, no mic system preferances. Did all you suggested, I will now assume that either the camera or adapter not working or this mac just isn't compatable with isight. Have not given up, but does not seem to be a good idea to have tried this.

Aug 26, 2015 1:54 PM in response to lllaassby peterhumason,Camera is used, I am going to try hooking it up to another mac. May not be a working camera or my mac mini just does not except it.

Aug 26, 2015 1:57 PM in response to peterhumasonby lllaass,I just update to 10.10.5 and no change. One frame ever 20 seconds or so and no sound altough the iSight mic show in Sounds>Input.,
Since yours does not even light, it think it is defective, I would return it for a refund and get a USB camera.

Aug 26, 2015 4:56 PM in response to lllaassby peterhumason,Hi, just got back from mac store. Salesman was nice enough to hook up and try it. Light came on and after waiting it worked! It took awhile for his mini mac to recognize camera but eventually it worked. Did not try mic only video, his mini is proubably a 2015, mine 2012. My computer seems to be trying to recognize camera but something isn't right. Light does come on momentarily then shuts off.
