Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

My podcast is not displaying more than 10 episodes

I launched a podcast in July and everything was fine....until recently only the last 10 episodes appear. Even if you subscribe you only can see the last 10. THis will severely affect my download numbers going forward as people cannot scroll down and find an old episodes they may like to listen to. The ones older than 5 weeks will effectively "disappear" unless you lok at my website - which many people don't do.
Other podcasts do not seem ot have the same problem as I can see 20 - 50 episodes from other podcasts I subscribe to !!!!

PLEASE HELP !!!!

Itunes Support is not replying and I am getting desperate.

Cheers

Nicky

If you posted your Store and feed URLs I wouldn't have to go hunting for them. Your Store page is at

https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/small-business-drivers/id1015793788?mt=2

Your feed is at

http://www.smallbusinessdrivers.com/feed/podcast/

There are ten episodes (05 to 14) in the feed, the Store and iTunes when subscribing. This is not a limitation in iTunes (the Store allows 301 episodes) so it's not up to iTunes Support to help you. You have made your podcast in Wordpress and Blubrry Powerpress. Many podcast creation methods limit the number of episodes in the feed, removing older episodes once the limit is reached, and this is evidently what is happening here. There is presumably a setting to enable you to increase the number or episodes shown. If you are having difficulty with this there is a Help page for Wordpress podcasting at https://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/podcasting/ and a forum for Powerpress at http://forum.blubrry.com

Go to PowerPress >> Settings, advanced mode >> Feeds >> Show the most recent and change the number in that box to the number of episodes you'd like to have in your feed. It is recommended that if you set it to a high number, you also turn on the Feed Maximizer located right below the episode number box. Then, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
