How to clean up the iMac
I have an iMac running Yosemite. I suspect that there are a lot of unused files, apps and other "stuff" unnecessarily clogging up my computer. How do I find it and how do I safely get rid of it?
Unless it is "clogging" up your Mac to the point that you have less than 10GB free on the startup drive, the "clogging" up isn't causing whatever problem you seem to be having that you haven't told us.
To "clean" up your Mac safely, go into your Home folder and archive or delete any unused documents, pictures, movies, etc.
